What’s in Store for Retailers and the Real Estate Pros Who Lease Them Space?
Everyone wants to know what lies ahead on the retail landscape given the rapid changes we’ve been experiencing. The upcoming CRE (Counselors in Real Estate) Mid-Year Meeting has convened a panel of experts to discuss what lies ahead for retail and to answer questions from the real estate pros who count on a vibrant retail market to keep stores occupied.
Despite more and more online shopping, brick and mortar stores will stay strong if they can retool themselves. The panel will discuss what makes retail stores work now and what will make them work in the future whether they are in a trendy Manhattan neighborhood, a suburban big box, a shopping mall or a local mom and pop storefront. The experts will share their opinions as to where the retail market is heading and how will it affect other types of real estate in the United States and internationally. There isn’t one singular solution that will work for everyone, but there are options for retailers who wish to turn browsers into buyers.
What’s In Store for Retailers will be held on April 29th at 3:15. The panel will be moderated by Bill Martin, the founder of ShopperTrak. Joining him will be Faith Hope Consolo, Prudential Douglas Elliman Real Estate; Richard Kinnard, CRE, Walmart Stores, Inc.; and Aaron Renn, Telestrian, LLC .
